The Curse - Nightmare MA

Jerry, knife in the chest and eyes glazed over, was coming to me asking why he was dead. I knew it was a dream, but it was so real I could hear the flies and smell death. I finally managed to tear myself away and opened my eyes. The waxing moon was casting his white light inside the trailer and I could see Ned snoring lightly beside me.

I got up as quietly as possible and went to the bathroom to splash water on my face. It was the middle of the night but I didn’t feel like going back to bed. I went to the galley and took a soda out of the refrigerator. I wanted to go out but I had no idea how to open the door, so I just sat on the sofa and took a sip. I thought about turning the TV on, but I decided against it. The night was still and peaceful and I didn’t want to disturb it.

The sorrow fell on me suddenly and I started weeping uncontrollably. I tried to be quiet not to wake Ned up, but I couldn’t help the wails coming out of my throat. I put my knees up and rolled in a ball.

I felt the sofa move and lifted my head. He put his arm around me and held me while I cried my heart out. After a while the sobs diminished and the tears stopped. I was exhausted, empty. Ned’s embrace was friendly and comforting, but when I peered into his eyes, something flared inside me. I locked my arms around his neck and attacked his mouth.

He put his hands on my back and dived into the kiss. I was so craving his taste I scraped my teeth on his chin. There was frenzy in the way I pulled at his clothes and he responded in kind.

He laid me down on the floor and licked his way to my breast. I cried when he seized my nipple between his lips, feasting on my flesh, and I squirmed beneath him. When I had enough, I fisted my hand in his hair and pulled him back to my lips.

I was so wrapped up around him he had trouble pulling down his boxer short.

“Hurry up !”

He heard my plea and filled me with one long move. I bucked under the assault and bit his lip. He started to move hard and fast and I moaned with pleasure. This time, it wasn’t so much about shared desire than the desire to feel alive. I peaked with a scream and felt Ned come with me. He rolled on his back, and we gasped for air.

After a moment, Ned turned his head to look at me.

“You’re okay ?”

“I think my emotions spilled all over.”

He burst out laughing and it was so happy and communicating I started to giggle as well. I had been on an emotional roller-coaster in the last twenty-four hours and this simple hilarity eased my heart.
